Agnes von Wettin von Rochlitz, Duchess of Merania, Countess of Andechs was born in 1156 in Leipzig, Germany. She married Berthold IV, Duke of Merania, Count of Andechs-Dießen in 1170 in Andechs, Germany. They had one child during their marriage. She died on March 25, 1195, in Hatay, Turkey, at the age of 39.
