Pierre Firmin Breaux was born in Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of Marguerite and Alexis. He married Marguerite Braud on April 13, 1769, in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. They had 15 children in 19 years. He died on October 2, 1808, in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana.
