Looking for information on Burrel (Burwell) Bell of Conecuh County, AL. Any information connecting Burrel Bell, Nathan Bell, Jackson Bell, or Bazil Bell. All lived in the Conecuh, Monroe, and Escambia County area in early to mid 1800's. They are possibly related to John Bell who arrived in Conecuh County around 1817 and for whom the town of Belleville is named.

Those names are not familiar but I have some Bell ancestors from Alabama back then. The towns are Bellwood (of Geneva, Ala) and Daleville (of Dale, Ala.)James C. Bell (1850-1918)was from Bellwood. James was the son of Jonas P. Bell of Tarboro, North Carolina(1811-1892). Jonas had other children also of Alabama, including William B. Bell (1837 born in Daleville); Joseph H. Bell ('39-64); Mary F. Bell(43-1907); John T. Bell (44-1931); Arianna V. Bell ('47-1931); Martha E. Bell (1853). Jonas Bell married Cherry Bryan about 1836 in Russell, Alabama. James C. Bell was married to Katie Doras Sandridge who was born about 1854 in Bellwood, Ala.
Don't know if there is any connection to your Bell's. Good luck in your research.
