You might try going online to put in Washingtonpost . Use google to get the correct address for the archiver . Surely a restarant owner for that long would have a very informational obituary .
You might have to pay for it , but it's less than $5.00.
Good Luck with your search .

Jack Hunt, 72, who had operated a seafood restaurant in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue N.W. for 23 years, died Monday [August 16, 1976] at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick, Md.
Jack Hunt’s Raw Bar, noted particularly for its fine lobsters, attracted many notables from the government, diplomatic circles and the theater.
In 1968, the restaurant was torn down along with other small businesses to make way for an office building. Mr. Hunt retired then to his Calvert County farm in Huntington, Md.
Born in Nashua, N.H., he was a graduate of Oregon State College. He lived in the Washington area for 45 years.
Mr. Hunt had belonged to the Reciprocity Club of Washington, often catering its dinners and parties, and to the Metropolitan Washington Board of Trade. He had been an active member for 41 years of Myron M. Parker Lodge No. 27 of the Masons
He is survived by his wife, Bernice, of the home; a daughter, Lauretta Godlewski, of Cheverly, and three grandchildren.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy may be in the form of contributions to the Building fund of Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Huntington.

I don't think that the photos are actually available through the site. You may need to contact the library directly to see if they'll make copies.
