I'm trying to find information on the parents of Margaret Kerwick and James Ryall. They're from Cashel, Tipperary, Ireland. She migrated to the US in 1851. From censuses, she was born around 1810. She left for New York two years earlier than her family. Her husband and children left for the US in 1853. They set down in the Albany, New York area. She passed away in 1895. He, unfortunately, passed away a few years after he arrived in the US in 1857. James' parents' names are John and Mary. I do not have the maiden name for Mary.

James, from what I have found, had three other brothers- John, George, and Michael. George left for Australia, and the other two left for the US. I do not have a lot of info on John and Michael. Michael might have stayed in NY with one of James' son according to a census. I have come across a bit of info of George in Australia.

James and Margaret had seven children. The first five, John, James, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, and Thomas were all born in Ireland. Edward and Margaret, the last two, were born in NY. I came across an article stating Elizabeth and Mary Ann stayed behind in Ireland and lived with their grandmother (no name). I can only imagine they stayed behind because of a sickness. The two girls died young. Elizabeth was born in 1845 and died in 1854. Mary Ann was born and died in 1848 and 1859. Those dates are only estimates.

John and James fought in the US's Civil War. Both were injured. James, Jr., is my third great grandfather, and I believe he died from complications of the injury in later years. He lived and died from 1841-1881. John was a judge in New Scotland, NY for a number of years. Edward died as a teen, Thomas dropped off the map, and Margaret married and lived in NY.

Any information on James Ryall and Margaret Kerwick would be appreciated. Thanks-
