Magdalene Teglash, 86, a resident of Linden , New Jersey and a former resident of West Hazleton, Pennsylvania died Monday, January 3, 2005 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center . Rahway, N.J..

Magdalene was born in West Hazleton on March 25, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Sally (Steifer/ Sztajfer) and Peter Ogorzalek (Ogozalek). Magdalene was also the granddaughter of the late Mateus and Mary Dziekan (Jakon) Steifer (Sztajfer) who were orginially from Meliec, Poland and the late Jacub and Anna (Sosicz) Ogorzalek, who were from Wadowice Gorne, Poland..

Preceding her in death was her husband, Albert Teglash Sr., in 1980 and 11 brothers and sisters: Joseph, John, Catherine, Sophia, Mary Potochney, Mathew Ogorzalek Sr., Anna Nawracaj, Helen Kislear, John Ogorzalek, Stella Hricak, and Frances Wydock (Wojdacz).

Magdalene is survived by the following children: Albert J. Teglash, Rahway, New Jersey, Patricia Gwozdz, Linden, new Jersey, and Theresa Andretta, Mountainside, New Jersey; grandchildren: Jennifer Gwozdz and Michael Andretta: and a twin sister, Agnes Ogorzalek Wydock (Wojdacz), Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, January 8, 2005 in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, West Hazleton. Interment followed in Calvary Cemetery, Drums, Pennsylvania.
