Classification: Query have Hannah's death date! It will make it easier to check the death register at the courthouse. I have access to the West Schuylkill Press, hopefully that issue is not missing, as many of the early papers are sparse. The earliest newspaper available for this area is on file beginning 1877. But I will check for her obituary. I will look for Matthew's death date also, if it is after 1890 I may be able to locate an obituary, providing that week's issue is filmed.
Newspaper for Tremont area beginning 1877 is available at the Tremont Historical Society (I would be POC), PA State Newspaper Library, Harrisburg, PA (they will do inter-library loan with your local library) and The Call Newspaper in Schuylkill Haven, PA. I do not know what they would charge or what they would be willing to research for you.
Let me see what I can locate first.
