This database is also a chronological index to selected articles and includes an alphabetical list of WWII servicepeople found in these articles. Many of the deaths reported in these newspapers took place throughout the state as well as the country, as reported deaths included relatives of residents, former residents, and current residents of Montgomery County. Information contained in this index includes name of deceased, age at time of death or birth date, date of death, and date of newspaper report.
