This collection contains a list of all individuals who were registered to vote in the 1924 election in New York City, New York.

What You Can Find in the Records

Lists are organized by borough (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, or Staten Island). From there, records are broken down by Assembly District, and from there, by Election District, street, and finally, house or dwelling number.

Voter registers are great records to use as “census substitutes”, since they will usually contain the names of heads of households, as well as other adults living in the same dwelling between census years.
