1910 Norway Census

The 1910 Census

The 1910 Census was held on December 1st and registered information for just over 2.4 million individuals residing in Norway at the time. Forms were similar to those included in the 1900 census and, similar to that census, no agricultural survey was carried out.

One differentiation from 1900 was the lack of a census for seamen, which had been carried out for both the 1891 and 1900 census's. The 1910 census also expanded on questions regarding housing conditions and included new questions on returning Norwegian-Americans and unemployment. The organization of the census was by county, and further divided by town or city.
