The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is one of the oldest historical societies in the U.S., founded in 1824. The society is home to an extensive collection of genealogical scrapbooks, research folders, and other related materials. This index is your guide to that collection.
The index cards within this collection can be searched by surname, card title, or keyword. Approximately 10% of the cards in this collection do contain a year and approximately 3% contain a birth year, so those values can be searched on as well. Once you find an item of interest, you can search for more information on HSP's online catalog. If you would like additional assistance, you may also contact HSP's Research by Mail department.
