Yoshikawa Name Meaning

Japanese: from an ancient and common place name meaning ‘lucky (or good) river’, which was taken by several families, mostly in western Japan and the Ryukyu Islands. One family is of the Kudo branch of the southern Fujiwara, while others descend from the Oe family (see Oe).
