Kaake Name Meaning
Dutch: perhaps an altered form of Dutch Kaak, from Middle Dutch cake ‘jaw’ or ‘cheek’, hence a descriptive nickname alluding to some facial peculiarity. Dutch: from Dutch kaag (earlier kaack), the same word as English keg. A bierkaacker was someone who used a beer hoist to carry and deliver kegs of beer. There was a Marten Hendricksz de Bierkaacker at Beverwijck (Albany) in the 17th century. North German: occupational name for a cook, from Kaack(er), Low German equivalent of German Koch.
