Announcing Ancestry Networks

Ancestry is thrilled to announce Networks, a feature built to help members break down brick walls and understand their ancestors within the context of where and when they lived.

Networks allows you to create a more complete picture of someone’s life by documenting their relationships and communities beyond their immediate family. By expanding research to friends, neighbors, religious groups, coworkers, and more—including complicated connections like enslavement—Networks can you develop a greater understanding of their ancestors and reach past longstanding brick walls.

What can you do with Networks?

  • Group ancestors together by community, shared experiences, places, or time
  • Add Media items connected to the Network
  • Add Sources and Records relevant to the Network
  • Add your own personal To Dos and receive recommended next steps from our custom AI system

Ancestry Networks is available today in Beta to all global Pro Tools customers and will be available to more subscribers later this year.
