Atlantic City Sea Gulls Hockey team late 1920s early 1930s

Hi, I am searching for information , documents, stats, and photos of player of the Atlantic City Sea Gulls, playing possibly late 1920s or early 1930s era. My uncle Walter James (or James Walter) Adams. He was born 1910 in Brockville Ontario. His nick name when he played for Atlantic City Sea Gulls was "Moose" Adams. He passed in 1960 in Toronto and I would love to find his daughter and grandchildren if in deed there are any, as well as the information about his hockey career. Any Information would be greatly appreciated, as time is growing short to finding any relatives since it has been so long.

My email address is sue.defoor@yahoo.ca

Sue DeFoor McConnell

Re: Contestants in the 1912 Olympics

Every Olympic Games produces an Official Report. Usually all participants are listed. You might want to check the British Olympic Association web page - they should have a reference section where you can look up team members. I feel the best source is the LA84 Foundation website (http://www.la84.org/). They have the best research center for sports in the world and you have easy access to many journals and documents - including every Olympic Official Report since the Games began in 1896 - all view-able online. You might also want to check the International Olympic Committee website (www.olympic.org)

I hope this helps.

Opportunity to share baseball related family history on NMAJH Tumblr Page!

Hey fans! Was baseball a big part of your childhood or community? Do you have a ball used from Sandy Koufax’s perfect game, or a ticket stub from when Hank Greenberg became the first player to hit more than 25 home runs in a season? If you have any interesting baseball collectibles, the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) wants to see them! In March of 2014, NMAJH will be opening an exhibit called Chasing Dreams: Baseball & Jews in America, and is currently launching a public collecting project on its Tumblr page, http://chasingdreamsbaseball.tumblr.com/, looking for fans all over the country to post photos and descriptions of their artifacts.
If you think you have a cool piece of baseball history that’s worth sharing, post it on the Chasing Dreams Tumblr page; the Curatorial staff might even ask you to lend your artifact to the upcoming exhibit! If you have any questions about posting, simply press the “Ask the Curators!” button on the left-hand side of the page, or email chasingdreams@nmajh.org.
-Alex, Curatorial Intern
