I'm glad that solution works for you and that you're happy doing that. As for me, I REFUSE to have to create and use a new User account for FTMM2! Any app that requires that solution to work, is not ready for prime time...... not even close. What is needed here is an update that fixes this constant crashing and memory hog issues. In the few days I have had this program it has crashed so many times that I cannot even count them. And, it uses a huge chunk of my RAM, typically about 450 MB, as well as most of the CPU. I had great hopes for this update, too, but it has been a huge disappointment to me. I am in the process of trying to contact Ancestry's Tech Support..... and they don't make it easy. It is unusable for me so I'll continue to use Reunion until, if and when, they get this fixed. And I still say you should NOT have to go to such extreme, unreasonable, and irritating measures just to use this app!!! Ancestry should be ashamed to have shipped this app in its current state.
