In Transylvania? ;-)

I posted the original questions and have been using "aft" since the post. This works in most cases, I have found It is quite easy to find a death date from family papers, funeral home records, and newspapers. Rarely will you get the burial date, so in all most all the deaths in my family burial is listed as Aft death date. I use this when I have been to the cemetery, saw the burial site and have taken a picture of the tomb stone. Basically I use the burial field to record cemetery information.

However I have occasionally found cases where this will not work. Such as a fact that has been handed down in my family about one grandmother. That fact she was born, married, and buried on the same date. In these case I find Before the date is the best way to handle these dates. There are other situation where the burial date can be found but the death date can not be found.
