An operating system such as Windows constantly "Swaps" programs and data into and out of memory. Check your task manager in Windows and you will see probably 50 + programs quietly running on far larger datasets than FTM without issue. Don't think so? Watch a movie on your PC. The movie will buffer and execute smoothly because the software to display the movie is properly designed and handles buffering without issue. If you are streaming the video to your computer, the software is at the mercy of your network speed which isn't the program's fault. FTM is poorly designed and it has nothing to do with 32 bit or 64 bit architecture, it is all a matter of poor program design. Good software is designed to eliminate issues that users should not have to deal with. FTM is need of some serious upgrades before it can be considered reliable.
