I am trying to find further information regarding:
STRINESVILLE (of East Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia) part of the East Martinsburg Historic District, which I found was laid-out and developed by Peter G Strine, my ancestor, sometime after the Baltimore and Ohio RailRoad came to Berkeley County, WV.
Peter G Strine and his wife and family lived in Martinsburg, WV in 1880 and was listed on the 1880 census as a wagon maker. I don't know how long they lived in Martinsburg, WV but they eventually moved back to PA where Peter G Strine came from.
STRINESVILLE is now referred to in real estate websites as a subdivision, which includes STRINE AVE., which is located by the historic Westphal Hose Co. No.5 on Queen's Street.
Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
