Just began again to visit Stream of responses. Without any further documentation the information on the groom is open to all kinds of speculation. I erred in my initial posting; i.e. there is not enough data to
leap to any conclusions. The good person who married these two wrote enough in English script to fill in the blanks. However, the place names, given names and times are all transliterations of what the scribe HEARD, rather than
what is factual. I hope the celebrants lived happily ever after.

Suggest: 1. If you can locate the Isac (spelling) Silberstein, or even any naturalization documentation, it might provide a more accurate naming for the town of origin.
2. U.S. Census enumerations for 1900 and 1910 might help.
3. Now the special New York State Census for 1905 is online. **** try this one.
