Hello. I am not sure what the name of the place my elder Sister, Brother and myself were placed back in 1950's, nor can I recall exactly what year for sure, (I suspect 1058-59 because I turned 5 I think, after we had been flown to our Dad's in California and I turned 6 soon thereafter). however, my elder siblings had to re-do a grade because we spoke Rhode Island instead of Californian. Hahaha!
I recall being so little that I was put in a crib or railed bed and cried because I had to go to the restroom but couldn't get out to go to the bathroom. It was at least a two story building I think however, I was too young perhaps to recall as well as I might have. Seems a Mrs. Sock(?) worked there? Sister remembers the snow and not being able to go out into it and being sad. Brother got bitten by an upset little girl because he got to sit on the storytellers lap. A man would come and do tricks with a fake bunny and would make it look like it could hop or move on hid arm. The chairs seemed huge and we had to say grace standing behind them then we could eat. You had to eat all you food or had to sit until you were done. I sat waiting for my Sister once because she wouldn't eat her peas. she still doesn't like peas.
I'm not sure if I will be able to post this however, it is a place of mystery and memory for the three of us.
Sincerely, Elizabeth (Phillips) Kelly
