No one has replied to my message but I have done some research and have a reply to myself, hopefully it will help someone else. I found a book written by the department of Commerce bureau of the census called "Benevolent Institutions 1910" and it can be found at http://ia311238.us.archives.org/0/items/benevolentinstit00un...
Any way it gives two orphanages in Idaho in 1910:
1/ Boise Receiving Home 740 Warm Spring Ave founded in 1908 2/ Lewiston Receiving Home for North Idaho 1806 Eighteenth Ave founded in 1908. I have also found that the records of the North Idaho Children's Home, Inc. were donated to the University of Idaho by the Children's Home in August of 1984. http://www.lib.uidaho.edu/special-collections/Manuscripts/mg...
I am still searching for the orphange that my father-in-law and his three brothers were taken to when found abandoned in a hotel in Jerome, Idaho in about 1913 or 1914.
Any help on this search will be greatly appreciated.
