Employee of Leader Company Killed While Riding a Motorcycle.

Edward McCarron, aged 20 years, for the past two years a valued employee of the Leader Company, died at his home in Raritan (New Jersey), on Friday morning (June 13, 1913) last as the result of an accident while riding a motorcycle on Thursday evening.

McCarron and a friend named Cook, were returning to their homes after a short spin and were nearing Somerville (New Jersey) when they ran into a wagon that, it is said, carried no light. The two young men were taken to their homes in Raritan. McCarron died the following morning and Cook is still in a dangerous condition.

In the Leader office, McCarron was extremely popular, his quiet and unassuming manner made him a friend to everyone; as a workman, few are as good and none better. He liked his work and progressed rapidly, he was a born printer, with an artistic eye, and many compliments have been received on the originality of his work.

The funeral services were held in Raritan on Monday morning, and were attended by a host of friends.

The floral tributes were many, and his parents desire through the Leader to express their thanks to his many friends who showed their sympathy.
