ABBOTSFORD, WIS. – Randine L. Weaver, 68, died on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, Wisconsin Wisconsin.Visitation today from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

The former Randine Katayama was born on April 20, 1944, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin to the late Hachiro Katayama, her biological father, and the late John and Lois (Finley) Cristofoli.

She graduated from high school in Buena Park, California and received her associate’s degree in computer programming from ITT Tech in Ohio.

On Oct. 13, 1981, in Youngstown, Ohio she married Robert “Bobbie” L. Weaver, who survives.

She worked as a deli clerk at Giant Eagle in Ohio for nine years, and also worked as a caretaker for Home Health Care for seven years until her retirement in 2010.
During retirement, she volunteered at Indianhead in Medford until the time of her death.
In her younger days she was a hula dancer.

She was a member of the Grace Communion International Church of Wausau, and the Word of God Fellowship in Canfield, Ohio where she sang in the choirs at both.
She enjoyed reading, fishing and decorating for weddings

In addition to her husband, survivors include children, Garilynn Venny, Adrian, Robert Jr., Michael Hall and Rodney Weaver, all of Ohio, and Lanard of New York; five siblings, Frank (Elvira) Weaver of Ohio, Rick Katayama, David (Kathy) Cristofoli and Janice (Rich) Ostir, all of Medford, and Kim (Vern) Helland of Abbotsford; 12 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Rodney Weaver III in 2009.
