Ocala - Harry G. Plow, 82, passed away December 27, 2007 at the age of 82 in Ocala, FL. Harry was born in Germany on April 19, 1925 and immigrated to America in 1947. He and his wife, Irene, relocated to Ocala from Revere, MA in 1992. As a Holocaust survivor, he devoted much of his time to educating students in the schools of Marion County about the Holocaust. An active member of Temple Beth Shalom, he was also active in Veterans and Family Services, a member of the Jewish War Veterans, on the Board of Ocala Central Florida Symphony and on the Board of the Board of the Marion Chamber Music Society. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed his family and his garden in his retirement. He is survived by wife, Irene M (Lindemann) Plow of 54 years, two daughters Erica Levine (Merrill) of Seattle, WA and Claire Margolis (Arthur) of Newton, MA and four adoring grandchildren, Jesse and Sarabeth Levine and Matt and Rose Margolis. There will be a memorial service at Temple Beth Shalom in Ocala on Sunday December 30th at 11:30 a.m. Remembrance may be made in his memory to Temple Beth Shalom, Ocala FL or charity of your choice.
