CHARLES S. PARKER
Charles S. Parker (Chuck), 78, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at his residence in Canyon Lake, Texas.
Mr. Parker was born in Conway, South Carolina, was formerly a resident of Columbia, Missouri and Sumter, SC and had been a resident of Canyon Lake for over 20 years.
He worked in the construction business and worked his way up to Superintendent. He served honorably for several years in the South Carolina National Guard and was a former member of the Elks Lodge.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his two sons; Ronnie Parker and his wife Helen, of Columbia, Missouri, and Timothy Parker of Seattle, Washington, two grandsons; Blaise Parker of Columbia, MO, and Zakquery Rodgers, of Harrisburg, MO., and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tye Preston Memorial Library in Canyon Lake, Texas.
