Clinton Edward Robinson
Dallas TX Robinson, Clinton Edward, born November 10, 1938 to Clinton Jack Robinson and Johnnie Mae Carter in Odessa, TX., passed away January 9, 2006 in Dallas, TX. Survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Ruth Coe Robinson; son, Clinton D. Robinson and wife Jennifer; 2 daughters, Sherilyn J. Jenkins, Pamela Robinson; grandson, George Robert Jenkins III; brother, Alvin D. Robinson and wife Jackie, aunt, Mable Jenkins; uncle, Earl Robinson and a host of other family. Clinton was an avid deer and pheasant hunter. He enjoyed deep sea fishing. He loved to listen and share his jazz and blues collection. Clinton graduated from Blackshear High School in Odessa, TX., and later earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Huston-Tillotson University in Austin, TX in 1961. Mr. Robinson served in the U.S. Army and did his basic training at Ft. Carson Colorado and served at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio. Clinton worked at the School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX before transferring to Dallas in 1974. He worked 33 years for the Federal Government and retired from the Department of Justice of the DEA in 1998 as an analyst and forensic chemist. Clinton was past president of Huston-Tillotson Alumni Association, Dallas Chapter and served as past president of the International HTU Alumni Association. He was a member of Hamilton Park United Methodist Church. Services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Harold Dangerfield. Family to receive friends 6:30-7:30 pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2006 at Restland Funeral Home.
