Billy D. Pyron II
Billy D. Pyron II, 34, passed from this life Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006 in Houston TX and is now resting in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Billy was born on May 27, 1971 in Tyler, TX and was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in 1989. He received an Award of Honor in the National Honor Roll from the National Leadership Organization. While attending Robert E. Lee, he won the 1988 U.S.P.F. State Power Lifting Championship. He attended Tyler Junior College and in 1990 became certified as a Physical Fitness Specialist from The Kenneth Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research in Dallas. In 1998 he was certified as a Personal Trainer from the Houstonian Institute in Houston and was a graduate as a Physical Therapist.

Billy loved his Lord and studying the Bible. His love was shown by the help he gave to others including the elderly and underprivileged. He enjoyed music and animals, especially dogs, and fixing little things around the house.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy N. Manziel and grandfathers, Bobby Joseph Manziel, Sr. and Eddie H. Pyron, uncles, Mike and Bobby Pyron, and cousin, Deborah Lynn Manziel.

Billy is survived by his loving family including his son, Billy D. Pyron, III; mother, Merigale Manziel Pyron of Tyler; father, Billy D. Pyron, Sr. and wife Judy of Tyler; sisters, Merilyn Hartley, Shelley Simpson and husband John, and Rhonda Overbergen and husband Todd, all of Houston; grandmother, Ona Pyron of Tyler; nieces, Morgan Hartley and Carley Overbergen both of Houston; nephews, Hunter Hartley, Clayton Overbergen and Cole Overbergen all of Houston; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be his cousins, Bobby Joe Manziel III, Michael E. Manziel, Nolan E. Manziel Jr., John Paul Manziel, Brandon E. Heath, Wesley M. Heath, and Jeremy D. Frank.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Joe Strickland at 10 a.m. Friday, Mar. 3, 2006 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home.
