Bob passed away in Roseville, CA with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years Barbara, son Kevin Wright and wife Elaine Warrener of Sacramento, daughter Susan Gentry and husband Rick Ruble of Granite Bay, and son Steve Gentry and wife Darlene Kohoya of Orangevale. Bob also had 8 grandchildren who he adored; Dusty, Mike, Jena, Sara, Steve, Preston, Austin and Samantha. Also surviving him are his sisters Helen, Norma and Kathy and brother Vern. He was preceded in death by his brothers Carl, Ed and Ivan and sister Mary. Bob also had a very large extended family with many nieces and nephews who all thought the world of him, often calling him their favorite uncle. He was a friend to all who knew him. If you needed something fixed he was the man who could do it all. He was a machinist at Wemco Envirotech in Sacramento for 33 years. Bob was most proud of his military service serving in the Navy on the USS Rolette during the Korean War. He then reenlisted in the Army in 1956 serving until 1959. He then finished his service to his country in the USN Reserves serving with the USS McKee. In recent years he was very active in the Fleet Reserve Assoc. branch 230 serving as president as well as many other posts. He will be dearly missed. Friends are invited to a memorial service Sunday, 12:00 Noon at the Roseville Veteran's Memorial Hall, 110 Park Dr., Roseville.
