William E. Lokey IV
LOKEY, IV WILLIAM E., was born November 29, 1937 at St. Paul Hospital, Dallas, Texas. He lived in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, Houston, Brownsville, Dallas, Texas, Los Mochis, Torreon, and Mexico City, Mexico, Bogota and Barranquilla, Colombia. He passed away Sunday February 19, 2006 in Dallas, Texas. His parents were William E. Lokey, III and Jaquelyn Anderson Lokey. He is survived by his wife, Raquel Castaneda Lokey and his children and their families: his daughter Monica and her husband, Stephen, their sons Alexander, Austin and Charlie Borg; his son William E. and his wife Renne and their daughter Georgia Lokey, Jr.; his daughter Jackie and her husband Michael and their daughters Audrey and Monica Kelley; and his daughter Leslie S. Lokey. He joins his brother in eternity, Christopher George Lokey. He earned a BA in Economics from Southern Methodist University and was a member and officer of the Kappa Alpha Order. He was an officer in the United States Marine Corps- Semper Fi, was a member of MENSA and had careers as a cotton merchant and exporter, commercial/investment real estate broker, and professional interpreter/translator. Bill was a long-time friend of Republic Title of Texas. Bill's passion was honing his mind, loving his family and researching his family genealogy. He lived a fruitful life and was eternally, a man for others. He will be missed by all who had the privilege and pleasure of knowing him. His memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday February 20, 2006 at the Cathedral of Guadalupe in downtown Dallas. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Lung Association.
