Jason Wade Harwood was born on December 22, 1966 to Dr. Ted and Diana Harwood of San Antonio.
Jason entered heaven at the young age of 36 at the Triple Zero Ranch in Cuero, Texas. Jason’s death from natural causes was under a favorite live oak tree where he had just laid his faithful Lab of 13 years, “Square Bear” to rest. Jason attended Clark High School and was a member of the Texas A & M Corps of Cadets, Class of 1989. He was a member of and he and his wife, Cris were married at University United Methodist Church.
Jason had a great love for the outdoors. Friendly competitive fishing and helping out at the family ranch were among some of his many interests. The happiest day of his life came last year when his wife, Cris, gave birth to his only child, Jacob Wade Harwood. His kind spirit and entertaining personality will be missed by his many friends and relatives.
Jason is survived by his wife, Cris; son, Wade; parents, Ted and Diana Harwood; brothers, Stephen Harwood and wife Tammy, and Pat Harwood and Jessica Schulze, all of San Antonio; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Cesario and Senaida Perez of McAllen; brothers-in-law, Chayo Perez, Paco Perez, Dominique Perez; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. Pallbearers will be Will Harwood, Matt Harwood, Brian Branum, Chayo Perez, Paco Perez and Dominique Perez.
