Loving husband, father, and grandfather, Tony B. Constanzo, of Atascosa, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the age of 91. He was the oldest grower for H.E.B., supplying produce to them for over 76 years. Tony was the oldest living member of the Sons of Hermann. His family immigrated from Italy. Tony was an honest, humorous man whom was a mentor who shared his wisdom with all that knew him. He was born in San Antonio on December 23, 1915 to Anthony and Mary Rachel Constanzo. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mae; children, Rachel Snider, Shirley Catherine Constanzo, Barbara Geisleman and husband Boyd, Mary Ann “Stinker” Adamek and husband Charles; brother, Nick Constanzo and wife Sadie; twenty grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, and many many friends. Tony’s family would like to give Special Thanks to Brad and Michael for keeping the Constanzo farm running, to Lisa and Louisa with Odyssey Hospice, to his caretakers, Grace and Isabel, and to Dr. Bradley Kaiser and staff for their loving care provided.
