I'm a V too! The latest info I read about V's was from 2012. It said that the highest percentages of V are found in the following populations:
59% -- the Saami people of Northern Scandinavia
16.3% -- the Berbers of Matmata, Tunisia
15% -- the Cantabrian people of Northern Iberia
10.4% -- of the Basque people (in the western Pyrenees spanning the border between France and Spain on the Atlantic coast)
10% -- the Mari people of the Volga-Ural region of Russia (also thought to be the original source of V in the Saami people)

This is consistent with my autosomal DNA breakdown which revealed 41.3% Northern European DNA (both sides), 21.8% Southern European, 7% Turkish/Persian/Caucasus, 0.3% North African (e.g., Berber/Tunisia) 0.1% East Asian, and even 2.8% Neanderthal DNA. (All non-Sub-Saharan African humans have between 1% and 4% Neanderthal DNA.) The rest of my DNA is non-specific or undetermined.
