St. Leo's Church in Ashley was one of the few churches to allow you to go to there church to research there records, that happen to be written in Latin, and they also allow you to copy there records. I know that they merged with another church, but I can't remember which one, I would suggest calling a local catholic church in Wilkes-Barre and asking them whether they can help you find out what church they merged with and what the new name of the church is. The other option would to contact Lackawanna counties Catholic Diocese.

I also wanted to add that St. Leo's may have buried their dead in St. Charles Church, but most of the time it was at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Church's Cemetery in Hanover Township on St. Mary's Road. If the cemetery can't help you, then try the church, as they where established in the 1850's.
