I'd like to invite everyone who has an interest in our state's cemeteries to please visit your state site at:
This group was started as a part of the Saving Graves web site.
Some of the groups have expanded, some are still in their infancy
with only
myself as a member. Each group is linked to the State home page at

Saving Graves is A collaborative effort of cemetery preservation
working to increase public awareness and activism in preserving,
and restoring endangered and forgotten historic cemeteries
worldwide. More
can be found about Saving Graves here: Currently Saving Graves
has the
main page at:, all 50 states, Canada at, Australia: http://www.savinggraves-,
the UK:, and every country around the
along with the newest addition Historic Graveyards at: Saving Graves was founded by Mr.
Spurlock of Norcross, Georgia in 2000. Mr. Spurlock handed over the
Graves websites and domains to me in November 2005. Along with my
and the state and county coordinators, we continue to build the
legacy Mr.
Spurlock has begun.

Persons like you help us grow by submitting reports on endangered
across the country and around the world. I have started to
photo pages of these cemeteries as they are submitted or as I can
get out to
take them. We welcome all information on cemeteries in your state,
laws or legislation, photo pages, and many other items. States and
are still available for adoption throughout the United States and we
all volunteers.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me at
e-mail, through the group or web site or at
