I'm no web-virgin idiot... I buy things all the time online, but I always get a preview of charges and e-mail confirmation of those charges.

Even when I try software, I get a prompt BEFORE anything's charged.

Ancestry gives you no accounting anywhere or anytime as to how much you're getting charged... you don't know until you look at your credit card or debit card statement.

Consumers get screwed while they're laughing in Utah as their credit card account increases by the minute.

And despite numerous e-mail attempts to get restitution, I got none.

They want you to call, if you can get a number... so their reps can strongarm you into the biggest dollar amount to pad their coffers.

They're no idiots... there's a reason that Utah's the multi-level marketing capital of the world... they're also building an empire on Americans searching for their roots.

BEWARE of Ancestry.com.
