Ditto to what the others have said, you shouldn't waste your time trying to correct info in other peoples' trees. They obviously didn't bother to check the records before including it in their own trees, nor do they apparently care, and their trees will forever be sloppy and incorrect, along with the other 90 million others online which none of us can do anything about. The best thing that you can do is to research everything you find thoroughly before you put anything in your tree, making sure to be as accurate as possible, using only the actual record, and don't ever use someone else's tree as your sole source of researching. Trees are supposed to be used as just a hint, once you get a "hint", go out and find the "source record", which a tree is not.
