Ooooo, but now Old Exact Search works the way it used to, too, ignoring all the spouses with the same surname as the search term. Thank you to the Ancestry team for making EXACT mean 'exact' again.
I don't mind that the Find Spouse link is broken. It's easy enough to find a spouse's entry — you know his/her surname, the registration district and the quarter/year.
Now, can the same magic wand be waved over the UK 1837-2005 births and the LMA London marriages …
