Is this an example of the Ancestry DNA team continually improving? When I was showing a friend my autosomal results last night, I was very surprised to see a sudden change in my ethnicity composition.

My father is mostly Irish with one German grandparent line, and my mother is all (southern) Italian. So, when I received my initial results of 52% British Isles, 18% Southern European, 15% Middle Eastern and 15% Persian/Turkish/Caucasus, I was mildly surprised but it basically made sense. The only part that seemed off was that the German side didn't seem to be represented.

Fast-forward to what I found tonight - the 15% Middle Eastern was simply replaced with 15% Eastern European. This couldn't have been from my father's side, since the 52% British Isles didn't change. So, was this the result of a mistake, or is this part of the process that is over time supposed to make the results more accurate? Perplexed over this change - Middle Eastern to Eastern European? Why?
