DANVILLE, KY. – Nancy Roberta Hoffman Kleckner, 88, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
Born Jan. 12, 1924, in Wesley, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ira Wade and Edith Claudia Day Hoffman.
She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School in Pennsylvania and was a founding member of the band’s majorette squad.
Nancy earned her registered nursing degree at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pa.
She retired as a senior registered nurse.
Nancy served in the U.S. Army Nurse Corp during World War II
She is the widow of Earl Leroy Kleckner.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012.
Burial will be at Bellevue Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.
