So glad that you were successful with that! On my husband's side we just attended the unveiling of a monument to his ancestor who was a Revolutionary War veteran and lived and died in southern Ohio! Perhaps with some others on the hunt someone might come up with enough information for your application. I will tell you that I posted the transcription of a letter that was done back in the 1930s on Ancestry (the Davis line -- also in Readsboro) and it ended up proving a relationship that a woman needed for the DAR.... so don't give up hope!
