Apr. 24 1763 July Court 1763. Note- some error caused probate to be made at Oct. Court 1763 Wife: Rebecca, use of 1 negro and residue of estate. Plantation on north side Roanoke River in Bartee County to be sold for education of four youngest children. Not named. Sons: Simon 200 acres of land purchased of Robert Dunbar nd 1 negro; Edmond, 160 acres manor plantation with 100 acres north side of Tar River purchased of Thomas Spell, and 1 negroe. Daus: Seal Powell, Elvey, Barbery Cain, Elizabeth Bryant and Sabrina Bond, 1 negro and 40 pounds sterling money each,
