Hello, I'm just reviewing these posts. I believe this is the lineage of my family as well. I've not gotten back that far, however, and am trying to verify the link between Osborn King Sr. and Osborn King Jr., husband of Martha Dawson. Jr. died in 1840 in Ohio County, Ky. Jr. and Martha were married Sept. 28, 1829 in Daviess County, Ky. I recently saw his estate papers at the Ohio County court house, and it clearly states that he is a Jr. However, I have found references that Jr.'s father was Thomas King, born in Loudon County Va. in 1768 and whose second wife was Mary Ann Sharp. I believe Jr.'s father may be the Osborn King who married Elizabeth Crump in Montgomery County, Ky., in 1813. The 1840 Ohio County census lists Ausburn Jr and Ausbern King, but the index for that year lists Osborn King Sr. and Osborn King Jr.

Does anyone have any documentation linking these two?

If anyone is interested in seeing the estate papers of Osborn Jr. let me know.
