Found this little tidbit on Ancestry.
1903 Andrew CARNEGIE has placed on his private pension list $20 month to Mrs Ann MULHERRON of Blairsville, who used to clean cars when the Laird of Skibo was Supt of the division. [haven't a clue what this is]

Possibly Ann was m to John MC GRATH

She evidently resumed her maiden name. Depending on when John died/div/split, it's possible he is Wm's father. John may have been in Civil War.

OK, not knowing too much abt Andrew CARNEGIE, other than being wealthy, I googled .....Skibo is the name of his estate in Scotland, so he is the Laird.
