A file that contains Benedetto Bellisario's (1839-Unknown) family tree was passed down to me from my grandfather William Felix Bellisario (1936-2009). It lists Angelina Di Salvo's (1874-1924) hometown as being Ateleta, L'Aquila, Italy.
The next record I have is a passenger arrival list from when Angelina and her son Benjamin Bellisario Sr. (1898-1973) and another Angelina Di Salvo, whom I believe is her cousin, came over to the US in 1901 on the Karamania. Here's the link https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JFVX-K65
I found another passenger arrival list of Angelina and the rest of her children arriving in the US in 1912 on the Fredrich der Grosse. Here's the link https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/JJTF-BP1
. On this passenger arrival list there is column that lists the passengers next of kin, next to Angelina's name it lists her mother's name as Henrietta Ranallo. I think that the costume's officer Americanized her first name and that it is really Enrichetta Ranallo.
Yesterday I was fact checking all of my info before I responded to you and as I was reviewing the Karamania passenger arrival list I noticed that I missed something. Above her cousin Angelina's name are more of their cousins from Ateleta, three of whom are Ranallo's. This backs up my suspicion that her mother's surname is Ranallo.
Lastly, I found Angelina's death certificate which lists her father as being Benedetto Di Salvo. Here's the link https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X8H3-SYY
