Thanks for your inquiry. My family is from the areas of Hemingway, Johnsonville and Georgetown, South Carolina. Don't know where the Coker side originally came from - still lots of Cokers in South Carolina. I lived in Hemingway.

my name is janice. I am resercing my coker heritage. My grandfather had a sister named Verline. I don't know who she married. Do you know anything about her brothers? He lived in Georgetown, and was raised near Mingo Between Andrews and Himmingway. His name was Mottie Clide Coker.
