FTM Enhancements

So I am struggling still to find where to formally lodge bright ideas and enhancement requests for FTM.

I have a few ideas that might make the product a whole world better, and I spot that there other similar threads but there is no confidence (it seems to me) that they get looked at. Can anyone advise?

Please could I suggest that there is a button under help in FTM that is called something like submit "Enhancement Request" and a proforma is developed to collect all the relevant information to make an idea credible? Perhaps there could be a voting system that allows people within FTM to "like" some ideas over others... it would save on threads like this one...

James Usmar.

PS: On the assumption nothing like that ever happens... here are my immediate top "asks"...

Please can the family tree view (upper centre panel) be extended to support more generations in the view, multiple spouse's and whole families (i.e. all the children).

Please can we see a 64bit variant of FTM for performance sake! Yes even with an i7, 16GB RAM, SSD I still spend time waiting for the most basic functions to run... even when just about everything I am using to do my geno work is 64bit and using a small proportion of the upper memory stack.

Please can leaf/web hints/hits be pre-loaded for the view, in a separate process thread, so you aren't waiting for them to load each time... might need some configuration settings to help people with limited/capped broadband bandwidths.

(PPS - Oh yes, before someone reminds me, I did suggest similar a while back -

On the right hand column, under Give Feedback, select the please let us know link.

In Feedback About, select Enhancement Requests from the drop-down list.

I wrote a lengthy request just the other day describing enhancements to the To Do feature that would create a full research log system linked to people, places, media, sources, and adding correspondence.
