I also have been trying to locate Wileman ancestry. My ancestry is in southern indiana as far as I can trace it. My great-grandmother was Loudica Wileman Houchin and her father was Frank Wileman. Both buried in Stendal Indiana. I haven't found anything further on the Wileman family in this area.
any info on Wileman's in Indiana?

Nyla - Ludicy Leah Wileman was Married to Joseph "Downey" Houchin 15 Sep 1895. She was the daughter of Calvin C B Wileman and Flora "Freelove" Davis. Calvin was eldest child/son of James Claiborn Wileman and Ludicy Roberts. You are correct on where they are buried. Ludicy Roberts Wileman is buried in Old Augusta Cemetery in Pike County IN. James Claiborn is buried in the Erick OK cemetery located in Beckham County OK.

Kendra Sue Houchin Bates gave me the Houchin info. However, I only have it for Howard Noel Houchin and Dessa LaMae Bass' son Gerald Herbert Houchin and sp: Evelyn "louise" McKinney. Hope this helps.

I'm descended from Leicestershire Whymans. My GGGgrandfather was Henry Whyman, who, according to an IGI Record was born 25 Dec 1787, Ashby de la Zouche, Leicestershire; he married Hester/Anne. Their children were: Charlotte, Esther, Maria, Martha, William, Mary, Caroline, Ann, Sarah, Elizabeth, Henry, Charles, and George. My GGgrandfather was Charles Whyman, b. 15 Apr 1827, Great Bowden, Leicestershire; he married Amelia Allen, of Galbally, Limerick, IRE. They were married in Leamington, Warwickshire, ENG and immigrated to the US in 1854. Their children were: Mary Ann, Alice, Frank, Horatio, Charley, Cora, Victor, Nellie, Orin, William, Charlotte, Theodore, Edith, and Helen; Mary Ann was born in Ireland, the rest in PA. My Ggrandfather was Frank Eugene Whyman, b. 25 Jul 1854, near Erie, PA, m. Mary Ann Windle, of OH. Their 11 children were born in or near Adams, Gage Co., NE. My grandfather, Ralph William Whyman, b. 05 Dec 1886, Adams, NE, m. Elvira Emily Collins, of Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE. My father, R. Collins Whyman, b. 14 Mar 1927, m. Marion Malone, of Waverly, Lancaster Co., NE. I am the oldest of their 5 children. We were all born in Lincoln, and grew up in Waverly, Lancaster Co., NE. From several IGI Records, I'm assuming for the present, that GGGgrandfather Henry was the son of Henry Whyman and Sarah, and that his siblings were John, Rebecca, and Sarah. I'd love to have confirmation of this info and additional generations.
