Surnames: Keezee/Kizzee
I have been trying to put my family tree together on my paternal grandmother's side to no avail. I get sidetracked by so many Thomas Keezee's. I am not sure if I have slave, native American, free negro ancestry, or not. I want to follow the correct information; but, it is getting increasingly difficult. Does anyone have any information about the Keezee's or Kizzee's that can put me on track? If so, contact me at or reply through this thread.

The last contact anyone had with Tommy Keezee he was in Oklahoma, around the Enid area. I believe he was last there somewhere in the 1950's; but, I cannot be sure. I have heard very little about his birthplace, and will not speculate. If I can get any more information I will let you know. Are you Keezee related?

Well, do you have any information about the Keezee/Kizzee family line? I once met someone publishing a book about the family; but, I have been unable to locate it in any library. If you have anywhere I can start my search, say from the Houston, Texas area, around 1825-1830, I would be greatful.
