I was looking for information regarding my grandparents and happened to log on to familysearch.org. This is the Mormon Church and as you know they have a very good website. When you find your family member on their website, it could be from birth certificate, death, baptism records or church records. I had birth dates, but I wasn't sure if they were correct. I found my grandmothers name on their website. It listed her name and noted information was taken from church records. It gives you a film number that is mailed to the closes Family Search Center and you can review it there. Of course I didn't know it if was the correct person, but I went into one of the Church Centers and requested the film. When I searched the microfiche for her name, I came across her name, where she was born, and the correct date of birth noted by the priest that did the baptism. Also noted on this document were the parents full names on paternal and maternal sides. It even had the grandparents name. After you find the document, you can make a copy there. It cost $5.95 to order the microfiche, for you to review. It's a long process, but I've gotten some very good results. It wasn't the birth certificate, but I managed to find baptism documents which shows date of birth, location and family members.

Although your comment is rather old I will tell you where to search. Go to any Morman Church library.(latter Day Saints) You can request microfilm on the dates you wish and they will then be sent from Salt lake City. They can Be viewed at the Library in the Church. Good Luck!!
